Our admission process is designed to allow multiple opportunities for discovering each student’s ability and willingness to support our mission. With each step of the process, you are encouraged to ask questions about our community. At the same time, we seek to discover each student’s academic performance as well as their academic potential. In addition, we strive to know the student’s personality, strength of character, extracurricular talents, and leadership potential. We recognize that each individual has many strengths and admission decisions are based upon a broad analysis and not determined by just one isolated trait.
At TMI, we focus on teaching students in small classroom settings, allowing a great deal of interaction among students in class and an opportunity to develop close, personal relationships with our faculty members. Our academic community is warm and inviting. We believe that self-esteem is earned through hard work and determination, and we are committed not only to the success of our school, but also to each individual at TMI. Our Residential Life program is available to students in grades 9 through 12.
